NOYNOY: tanga! anong pareho dun!? magkaiba ‘yon. ferdinand ka, benigno ako.
BONGBONG: see? kapangalan pa natin ang ating mga ama.
NOYNOY: bobo! junior ka, the third ako. malaki ang difference no’n.

I’ve got two words for you: “martial law!”

NOYNOY: ah basta!
BONGBONG: ha-ha-ha naubusan ka na ng bala!

NOYNOY: noong panahon ng tatay mo, walang freedom of the press!
BONGBONG: noong panahon ng nanay mo, walang kuryente!

NOYNOY: marcos billions sa europa!
BONGBONG: whatever! hacienda luisita!
NOYNOY: engot! in five years, ipapamahagi na namin ‘yon!
BONGBONG: i don’t believe you! gawin mo muna!

NOYNOY: ano ba talagang gusto mo?
BONGBONG: simple lang, state funeral and an honorable burial para sa aking tatay sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.

NOYNOY: that’s not for me to decide.
BONGBONG: i’m not surprised.
NOYNOY: what do you mean?

NOYNOY: that’s democracy.
BONGBONG: that’s weakness.

NOYNOY: hindi ako diktador!
BONGBONG: oops, i’m sorry mr. symbolic president.
NOYNOY: sumusobra ka na! ang pagiging sobra ang dahilan kung bakit kayo pinalayas ng people power sa edsa. you’re way out of line!

BONGBONG: out of line??? no! we’re so back! isa sa senado, isa sa kamara at isang gobernadora.
NOYNOY: WALANG STATE BURIAL!
BONGBONG: ha-ha-ha, now you’re talking! fine!

NOYNOY: tapusin na natin ‘tong usapang ‘to. stop txting me!
BONGBONG: agad? i’m just warming up.
NOYNOY: maghanap ka ng kausap mo.
BONGBONG: may ipapakilala akong chick. 25 lang. maputi, mahilig sa jazz music.
NOYNOY: huwag mo akong daanin sa babae. sa dami ng problema ng bansa these days, women are the least of my concerns.
BONGBONG: talaga? ok. fine. bye!
NOYNOY: sandali lang!!! chinita ba?

Note: BONGBONG Marcos didn’t reply. An aide said, “Na-check operator services po si Sir.”

Foreign Singers: They also love OPM!

David Pomeranz singing "Pasko na, Sinta ko"...
I first heard this at Unang Hirit wherein David Pomeranz was the guest at exactly 100 days before Christmas. I like the way he sang it. :)

Thalia recorded "Nandito Ako" which was originally sung and composed by Ogie Alcasid. I read that there's a story behind why she chosen this song.
In her First time in the Philippines, on her way to an event she heard the Song "Nandito Ako" on the radio. Thalia loved the song and she said she wanted to learn that song.

Ulan sang by David DiMuzio and Jayson Fernandez of Rivermaya

My Huckleberry friend, moon river and me

Different versions of Moon River videos I got from you tube. I guess this song is one of the most played songs in my mind at all times! haha..

Moon river, wider than a mile
I’m crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way

Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after the same rainbow’s end, waitin’ ’round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me

(moon river, wider than a mile)
(I’m crossin’ you in style some day)
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way

Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after that same rainbow’s end, waitin’ ’round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me

I got intrigued of what does "huckleberry" friend means in this song. I found out that I'm not the only person who wants to know its meaning. Got this at Yahoo answers.com

From Lawson Stone's "I'm Your Huckleberry":

" 'Huckleberry' was commonly used in the 1800's in conjunction with "persimmon" as a small unit of measure. 'I'm a huckleberry over your persimmon' meant: 'I'm just a bit better than you.' As a result, 'huckleberry' came to denote idiomatically two things. First, it denoted a small unit of measure, a 'tad,' as it were, and a person who was a huckleberry could be a small, unimportant person--usually expressed ironically in mock self-depreciation.

The second and more common usage came to mean, in the words of the 'Dictionary of American Slang: Second Supplemented Edition' (Crowell, 1975): 'A man; specif., the exact kind of man needed for a particular purpose.' 1936: 'Well, I'm your huckleberry, Mr. Haney.' Tully, 'Bruiser,' 37...

...'The Historical Dictionary of American Slang' which is a multivolume work, has about a third of a column of citations documenting this meaning all through the latter 19th century.

So 'I'm your huckleberry' means 'I'm just the man you're looking for!' "

In the context of the lyrics of "Moon River," the phrase "my hucklerry friend" seems consistent with the latter idiomaticmatic meaning of "huckleberry" above, but with the addition of the word "friend."

It costs approx 23K!

I am writing this blog while waiting for my auntie's turn in her checkup. Now the best way to unleash this boredom is to write down the expenses I made from my last "lakwatsa" at Singapore.

Everytime someone asks me how much did I spent at sg, I say, it's approx. 30-35k. This was my rough estimate which includes the souvenirs I bought at the plane which is not recommendable at all. The problem is that we ran out of time for shopping as well as cash on hand! Hehe thanks to credit card, I was able to bring 'pasalubong' to my relatives and friends.

Here it is! The breakdown of my SG expenses last August 24 to 28! I converted this to peso(1Sg$=36pesos).

August 24

Airfare - 5,800 ( cebu pacific promo roundtrip)Hotel81 - 5,760 (4nights @120 per night/3 pax)Terminal fee - 1620Airport taxi - 240 (29sgd/4pax) midnight rate for taxi vary Breakfast - 360 Train ticket - 660 Sentosa ticket - 1440 (half day tour) Lunch - 360 Dinner - 500

August 25
USS - 1900 ( 20% discount price);Lunch with drinks - 750;Dinner - 720 (glutton's bay)

August 26
Singapore zoo - (complimentary ticket c/o empz); Bus - 90 (fr station to sg zoo) ;Tram - 180 (ride all u can inside the zoo);Meal - 970;Dinner - 720

A Song that Makes me Cry...

Everytime I hear this song from Jamie Rivera, entitled Sino Ako, it always breaks my heart.
I don't know exactly why, maybe because of its lyrics, or something.
But I can still remember, when I was in gradeschool, I saw the lyrics of this song from my father's notebook. I learned that my father when he was still a bachelor, during "kursilista" days.  From then on, I was very eager to learn this song.

Recently I heard this song when my bestfriend's dad died last two weeks ago. I can't help but to cry.

Then yesterday, again, I watched "The Last Seven Words" featured by ABS CBN. A girl named "Angela" sang this song heartily.  Tears fell again....

Hiram sa DIYOS ang aking buhay
Ikaw at akoy tanging handog lamang
Di ko ni nais na akoy isilang
ngunit salamat dahil may buhay

I dreamt about Shoe! What does it mean?

Shoes
In general, shoes represent your approach to life. Wearing shoes in your dream, suggests that you are well-grounded or down to earth. It also represents your convictions about your beliefs. If you are changing your shoes, then it refers to your changing roles. You are taking a new approach to life. If you forget your shoes, then it suggests that you are leaving behind your inhibitions. You are refusing to conform to some idea or attitude.

To see old and worn shoes in your dream, indicates that you will find success through hard work and diligence. You have come to terms about who you are.

To dream that you are wearing inappropriate shoes for the occasion or for the activity at hand, means that your progress and path in life will be long, hard and laborious. It may also indicate that you are heading in the wrong direction. Perhaps you need to reevaluate your goals. If you dream that your shoes do not fit or that they pinch and hurt, then it means that you are questioning your goals. You are doubting the direction of the path you are taking.

To dream that you are not wearing any shoes, indicates that you have low self-esteem and a lack of confidence in yourself. You are dealing with issues about your self-identity. It also represents poverty, lack of mobility, or misunderstanding. Alternatively, to dream that you are not wearing shoes, represent your playful attitudes and relaxed, carefree frame of mind. You have a firm grasp and good understanding on a situation. If you dream that you lose your shoes, then it suggests that you are searching for your identity and finding yourself.

Congratulations! Nonito Donayre

You and I..Collide...Great Wedding Video of Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa

Wedding Venue was shot in Batangas. Very beautiful beach with equally good-looking couple! Oyo and Kristine tied the knot in a very sacred and yet very light ambiance...

I like also this song! Collide!..

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!! Spread the Love!!
Love, Love, Love... :)

The dawn is breaking
A light shining through
You're barely waking
And I'm tangled up in you
Yeah

I'm open, you're closed
Where I follow, you'll go
I worry I won't see your face
Light up again

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
I somehow find
You and I collide

I'm quiet you know
You make a frist impression
I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the stars refuse to shine
Out of the back you fall in time
I somehow find
You and I collide

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to ryhme
Out of the doubt that fills your mind
You finally find
You and I collide

You finally find
You and I collide
You finally find
You and I collide

Horoscope for today : January 30

Overview
One of the best tools for understanding any situation is perspective. If you look at things from multiple angles, you eventually gain a better idea of how to approach them and move forward (if that's what you really want). Today you experience a variety of challenges that allow you to apply this philosophy -- some of them fun, some of them not so fun. Throughout the entire day, keep an open mind, and you'll easily be able to discern the good from the bad.

Meaning of Dreams

Do you search for the meaning of your dreams?
Yes, I am doing it always.

And here are my recent dreams:

Necklace

Dream Interpretation: (from swoon.com)
"A necklace is said to be a fortunate dream symbol pertaining to love affairs, unless it broke or fell off, in which case it signifies domestic quarrels or romantic disappointment. However, the design, jewels (if any), metal, and color should be considered, as well as the action involved (i.e., giving, receiving, finding, etc.) in order to determine the dream's meaning."

Buying

Dream Interpretation: (from Dreammoods.com)
"To dream that you or someone is buying something, represents your acceptance of an idea, condition, or situation. Consider what item you are buying for additional analysis. Alternatively, the dream means that you are lacking something in your life and need fulfillment."

Missing "Perfect Match" Korean Novela

I love this song!!

Sadyang walang patid ligaya at saya

Pagmamahal natin ang syang nadarama

Walang sayang sa ating bawat sandali

Hindi sanay ng magkawalay

Panahon na nagdaan

Tila ba walang hanggan

Sana ay di na matapos pa..

Pangakong iibigin ka kailan pa man

Ayokong makikita kang nasasaktan

Tila ba walang hanggan

Sana ay di na matapos pa..

Pangakong iibigin ka kailan pa man

Ayokong makikita kang nasasaktan

Pangakong iibigin ka kailan pa man

Ayokong makikita kang nasasaktan
