David Pomeranz singing "Pasko na, Sinta ko"...
I first heard this at Unang Hirit wherein David Pomeranz was the guest at exactly 100 days before Christmas. I like the way he sang it. :)
Thalia recorded "Nandito Ako" which was originally sung and composed by Ogie Alcasid. I read that there's a story behind why she chosen this song.
In her First time in the Philippines, on her way to an event she heard the Song "Nandito Ako" on the radio. Thalia loved the song and she said she wanted to learn that song.

Different versions of Moon River videos I got from you tube. I guess this song is one of the most played songs in my mind at all times! haha..

" 'Huckleberry' was commonly used in the 1800's in conjunction with "persimmon" as a small unit of measure. 'I'm a huckleberry over your persimmon' meant: 'I'm just a bit better than you.' As a result, 'huckleberry' came to denote idiomatically two things. First, it denoted a small unit of measure, a 'tad,' as it were, and a person who was a huckleberry could be a small, unimportant person--usually expressed ironically in mock self-depreciation.

It costs approx 23K!
I am writing this blog while waiting for my auntie's turn in her checkup. Now the best way to unleash this boredom is to write down the expenses I made from my last "lakwatsa" at Singapore.
Everytime someone asks me how much did I spent at sg, I say, it's approx. 30-35k. This was my rough estimate which includes the souvenirs I bought at the plane which is not recommendable at all. The problem is that we ran out of time for shopping as well as cash on hand! Hehe thanks to credit card, I was able to bring 'pasalubong' to my relatives and friends.
Here it is! The breakdown of my SG expenses last August 24 to 28! I converted this to peso(1Sg$=36pesos).
August 24
Airfare - 5,800 ( cebu pacific promo roundtrip)Hotel81 - 5,760 (4nights @120 per night/3 pax)Terminal fee - 1620Airport taxi - 240 (29sgd/4pax) midnight rate for taxi vary Breakfast - 360 Train ticket - 660 Sentosa ticket - 1440 (half day tour) Lunch - 360 Dinner - 500
August 25
USS - 1900 ( 20% discount price);Lunch with drinks - 750;Dinner - 720 (glutton's bay)
August 26
Singapore zoo - (complimentary ticket c/o empz); Bus - 90 (fr station to sg zoo) ;Tram - 180 (ride all u can inside the zoo);Meal - 970;Dinner - 720
Total = Php 22,370.00
Take note: 'Pasalubong' not included... :)
